I thought African Americans, because I don't see how one would even know if there are members of alcoholics anonymous living in nice neighborhoods or not. I mean people don't wear a sign or anything?

Haha! I so totally agree. Who would ask if Raleigh is a good place for alcoholics anonymous and then say that he/she didn't see many of them. I don't think alcoholics anonymous members walk around with AA shirts on. I haven't seen a tee-shirt with the following: "I'm in Alcoholics Anonymous".

If you can't see them, would that make them Anonymous Alcoholics?
...I may be considering Charlotte as well. Any insight to that area?
Well now that the “Raleigh Welcoming Committee” has shown you their best hospitality (sarcastic voice ), I’d like to say come on down to Charlotte, we’d love to have you. Here’s some information you may find interesting….

I was actually wondering how you'd know whether a neighborhood in Cary/Apex/Holly Springs had african americans in it, since only a small percentage of residents in a neigborhood are likely to be out in their front yard at any given time.
Are there clues that give this sort of information away? Certain models of cars in the driveway that indicate one skin pigmentation versus another?

I think we need a list, and then we will go snipe people from the Charlotte forums. Wait, Charlotte has Jack in the Box, there is no way we will ever beat that..

Well, with all the rain and cold weather, most folks aren't outside participating in outdoor activities...
I don't think the OP will be back b/c I think the whole post was a "set up" trying to get a reaction.... questioning the whole issue of "Did I just miss them? or "are they nonexistent"? GRRRRR.. kinda rude IMHO.
I think the OP knows this is a ridiculous comment meant to stir the pot and was just trying to "get a rise" out of people...
