Does anyone on this post know of any informative websites that highlight (preferrably by map) where the city plans to build the new schools it discusses in it's long-term planning? Selfishly speaking, I'm hoping they've considered North Raleigh around Creedmoor and 98.

There is nothing going near that exact spot....no room really (remember that is almost all watershed area for Falls Lake)....but the www.wcpss.net web site should have all the information you are looking for....and at one time they did have a map up.

That's a perfect site. Thanks. It looks like an elementary school is in the works at a location that is closer than what currently exists.

Keep in mind that in Wake County it could be that your child doesn't go to the to the closet school. They may, but assignments are based only on location.

This has been most helpful and gives me some hope. Thanks again!
