Does anyone know where I can find out what they serve at the Queen of Sheba restaurant in Chapel Hill? Or do you have recommendations/favorites? I have never been to an Ethiopian restaurant and will be going there on Friday.

Doro Wat is the national dish of Ethiopia. It's a spicy chicken stew served with injera break. Google doro wat and you'll learn a bit more about it.

Didn't that get bulldozed last year to build the fancy new condos (greenbridge)?

They relocated to the Timberlyne Shopping Center off Weaver Dairy (where The Dreamcatcher Cafe used to be).

Ah, good to know.

We enjoyed it from time to time at the old location. I have no idea what we ate, as my wife took care of the ordering (all vegetarian stuff).

I've not been to Queen of Sheba, but for my first Ethiopian food experience we went with a combo platter shared between two people. We were able to get a bit of three different dishes to try, along with two sides and injera. I thought it was a great way to try a few different things on the menu to figure out what I liked and what I didn't for the next time. But I ended up liking everything we tried!

I did try Doro Wat, as well as a lamb stew and a beef stew. They were all quite delicious!
