Hello
Hubby and I would like to purchase a newer single story town house and wander if you have any recommendations. We are aware of a nice complex in Brier Creek but any others out there. We're just starting a search. Thanks everyone.

At the moment there are over sixty single story townhomes on the market in Wake County.
A few of their subdivisions:
Washington Square at Amberly
Carpenter Park
Cary Park
Inman Park

Are you talking about Lennox? I looked at that myself a few months ago and it is still on my list.

If it's by Portrait homes, they may be in trouble:

LinkedIn: Answers: If you have dealings with Pasquinelli or Portrait Homes, please provide your experience with this company.

I'd stay far away for issues including liens and warranty.

We've decided to stay far away from them after I did the research last night. Sad though since we really liked the area and floor plan. Oh well, narrows our choices down to make an easier decision.

Good Luck - finding a single story town home - newer or otherwise can be a challenge around here....

There are ranch style townhomes with double car garages in the Villages at Wakefield (near where New Falls of Neuse dead ends). Just one or two streets... approx. 6-7 years old. Not an official 55+ neighborhood, but most of the residents seem to be retirees. I think they are 2 or 3 bedrooms around 1200-1700 square feet.

There is a neighborhood in Apex/Cary West Lake that offers townhomes with 2 bedrooms on the first floor and a 3rd bed upstairs with a bonus room. They have 2 car garages. I hear they are beautiful but only a couple left.
