Does anyone know where there is a good hispanic food market in Chapel Hill? I'm looking for the ingredients to Guatemalan Tamales and/or chuchitos, trying to give my family a little taste of my adopted country while home for Christmas...

Thanks

There's a couple of markets on Rosemary St near the border of Chapel Hill/Carborro. Can't attest to what they carry, but if they don't have what you are looking for they may be able to send you in the right direction. There's also a couple markets on N Roxboro in Durham.

Not in Chapel Hill, but in Durham in 2 locations:

A true supermarket rather than a little tienda. I love it and I barely know my way around the chili section (but I'm learning!)

There is also one in Raleigh/Garner near where South Saunders splits into 401 and 70. I'd never gone in because I thought it was just another supermarket and it's not my usual supermarket. Now I'm very curious to stop in!
