I have been looking everywhere for Channukah candles with no luck. I've tried Target and Walmart, CVS and Kerr Drug, grocery stores, etc. Who knows where I can find some? Preferably on the Durham/ Chapel Hill/ Hillsborough side of town? I have some misc ones left from previous years, but they won't last me the whole holiday. This is a frustration for me every year. I really need to just order them online next year.

Check out your local Party City -- Party City - Halloween Party, Birthday Party Supplies, Party Decorations, Scene Setters, Costumes, Balloons=& (or other Party Supermarket places). Usually we have good luck finding them there. Or sometimes Target -- you just need to find the right end cap that has them.

I can usually find them at grocery stores, you may want to try there. I heard from some that Kroger in Durham has more kosher items so they may pay more attention to supplies for Channukah.

I found the endcap at Target a few days ago - they had menorahs and decorative candles, but not Channukah candles. Maybe they had had them and were out. I haven't been to Kroger this year, but in the past I have tried there and did not find the candles. It may depend on the store though. I've heard the one on 15-501 might be a better bet so I plan to hit that one tomorrow. I tried Lowe's foods today at someone's suggestion, and they had a little section of kosher foods and shabbat candles, but no Channukah candles. And Food Lion isn't even worth trying - they never even have anything kosher at all! I've never tried Party City though - I will definitley check them out!

In NJ you could find them at any corner store or grocery store! I think I still expect them to be reasonably easy to find here - even after 8 years of struggling with it! haha

Call one of the local temples or synagogues and ask them; they'll know.

Look up your local Chabad. I bet they would probably give you candles at no charge.

Synagogue gift shops always have them. I've also seen them at Steinmart and Homegoods. I have extras if you need some!! Seriously, if you can't find them, DM me!

I saw them at CVS, although I live in Morrisville. If you have a CVS near you, you might check there. I have also seen them at Walmart in the past as well.

Woo Hoo! Just wanted to let you know that I was just cleaning up the house and happened upon another partial box of Channukah candles in a drawer! If I put it together with the ones I already have, it will be enough to take me through the holiday. Thanks for your input folks! I think I'll be sure to just order them online next year!
