I am new to the area, living in Durham and am an experienced bartender looking for employment. Any advice and where to search or any establishments to contact?
Much appreciated.

9th street area (near Duke) is the biggest concentration of bars in Durham. I would start there.

You can find bartender jobs listed on Craig's list: mash here

While not as many listings a good job wesbite is indeed.com: mash here

I would also look at the classifieds in the free weekly newspaper "The Independent": mash here

Good Luck!

That's just crazy talk!

I would also check out by the Airport, a lot of chains and some local places out there, as well as South Pointe Mall area.
