Good job, you've done well.

Now you just need to wait for the right person.

Okay, another weekend has gone by, and we have still not had a single showing. What can I do? This is making me really worried now! My realtor says that we had 430 hits on our realtor.com listing this week. Is this good or bad? Good that people are seeing it? Or bad that people are seeing it but don't want to come see the house? I know that Durham isn't as hot of a market as Cary or something, but I thought we'd have had at least one showing after two beautiful weekends.

If you are getting hits on your site, how are the pictures??? Have you totally depersonalized your home??? When you look at the pictures do you say "wow great house".

How is your price, is it within the comps in your area??? Recent comps??

I would start to wonder as well.

As people tell me, it takes only one buyer to buy your house. So just hang tight and keep that house clean!!

Default Market Slowdown!

Now is not the best time to be selling a home....if you have to sell your house now!...then price price PRICE...is what will sell? sell now for less or later for even lower?
Just my opinion but the market is in for a big turn around in raleigh and durham over the next few months...good luck

I don't know Durham subdivisions but I see that there are 8 for sale in yours. One is a foreclosure. I'd ask my agent, what is the average days on market for this neighborhood and then just hold tight.

I had a house listed once...20 days on market with NO SHOWINGS! I was going nuts. I was advertising in N&O, had it on TV, told each and every agent in my office about it, send emails to every agent I knew, sent notices to the neighbors. After 20 days...finally ONE SHOWING. And ONE CONTRACT! Hang in there. Vicki

The comps we looked at in our neighborhood for the past couple months ranged from 8 days to 60 something I think.

Lots of other people we talk to at work and stuff think it's no big deal to go 2 weeks without a showing. But I will feel better when people come!

Could you PM me your listings as well, I have some people coming in town that may be interested in at least looking.

Leigh
