At least you were smart enough to understand that.

PS I hate to break it to some of you, but stereotypes usually have a basis in truth and are only generalities at most anyway, not absolutes. Many of us believe this one to have a lot of truth to it based on numerous and lengthy experiences, as well as similar thoughts echoed from people whose judgment we trust. You want to disagree, fine, I would just hope it's based on something similarly concrete and not just because the possibility is politically incorrect or upsetting.

Oh and I should add normal to sound like they are yelling all the time too?

ROTFLMAO! I don't even have to curse for people to know I'm from Jersey.... I'll admit when I get cut off by a dumb, blind, idiot on I440 I can curse like no one has ever heard.... I even surprise myself. But then again I've met some Virginians here that curse just as good as us..

This has officially become "the thread that would not die"! The bottom line is that in every state, every neighborhood, every ethnic group, economic class, region, etc. there are people who swear, moan, complain, are racist, sexist, elitest, etc. Just as there are great, nice, well spoken people. People are people regardless of where you are from. Human nature prevails...

I had a boss from New Jersey. He swore like a sailor(when he wasn't upset). I also met a woman from New Jersey. I never heard her once use a swear word. I think it varies.
