I'm so glad you had a good time and thanks for the review.

Tom Yum Thai near Cary Town Center for next time! Good lunch specials, too.

I think you are referring to Thai House. I love it as well, and the owner is often there and is very nice.

Thaiphoon in Glenwood South is also very good if you are looking for a slightly more upscale experience.

Today for lunch, we ate at Lemongrass for Thai food and it was DELICIOUS.

For $9, you got a choice of egg roll or soup, drink, and lunch entree. I'm a wimp when it comes to hot foods so I got the mild one...noodles and chicken and it was absolutely yummy! Hubby got some hot stuff that choked me and he appeared to be sweating as he ate.

The waiters were friendly and the service great.

The way he and I rate restaurants is...would we go back? And the answer is YES!

Thanks to all of you that recommended it.

Vicki

sounds delicious, and if both you and Carolina Cowboy recommend then I will try it soon as well - and amazing value for $9

Thai Spices and Sushi at the corner of High House/Cary Parkway in Cary. It's as authentic as one can find, you won't regret it!

In the western half of the Triangle it's Twisted Noodle in Durham. Not familiar with the eastern side options.

Tried this place once, will not go back--maybe it was an "off" night. Food was as bland as a rachel ray recipe.
