Wondering if anyone has been to the new coffee place in Forestville Crossing (off of 401 across from Highland Creek)?

I went about a week ago and found it to be pretty good too. However they hadn't received their pastry shipment when I stopped by - around 8am or so.

Have not been there yet but did stop in to eat at the new Ragazzi's @ Forestville Crossing. Food is the same good Italian food but the setting is not. The building is new and very nice but the atmosphere is not like their old location on Glenwood Ave. It is more like a Milton's in Wake Forest. Does not have the feel of an Italian restaurant anymore. It is quite noisy with a lot of background noise while your dining on your Man-o-cotti that's good!!!! So A for good Italian food but C- for atmosphere.

Unhappy Store Closing

I received an email from the owners of Cool Beans this week stating that they will be closing on or around Saturday, April 11.

Here's a copy:
[SIZE=2]
Dear Cool Beans Customer:

We are sorry to inform you that our store will become yet another unfortunate victim of our current economic situation. We will likely be closing our doors for business on or about Saturday April 11, 2009. Please remember to use your gift card balances in the next week if possible. if that is not possible and you can't make it to the store, please let us know and we will process a refund for you.

While we are still open we encourage you to take advantage of our reduced prices on the following:
-- logo travel mugs $4.95 (was $7.95)
-- logo T's or Hats $4.95
-- all gelato and sorbetto 50% off (please inquire if you are interested in larger quantities of gelato to take home. we have 36 full 5 liter trays of various flavors of gelato and sorbetto. These would be excellent for a party, ice cream social, etc.

Please forward to anyone you know that has or has been given a gift card. We would like
to make good on them prior to closing.

Thank you,

Heather and Jim Hall
