Hey everyone! I want to thank everyone that participates, I have been reading a lot of Raleigh forums and they help a lot!
I am planning on moving soon to the raleigh area in a month or two, as I have a final interview in the next week or two. My job will be just outside of North raleigh by Route 1 and interstate 440. I am so excited but I know that I don't have a lot of time to study the area. I have a stay at home wife and a 5 month old daughter. We are looking for a relatively cheaper 2 bedroom (1-2bath) apartment for under 750 in a place that is mainly a safe neighborhood, and 10-15 minutes away from shopping and entertainment. I don't mind a drive to work 30-40 minutes away max as long as the apartments have a good location. I have read that raleigh doens't have a really good transit system so hopefully parking and traffic isn't as bad as downtown grand rapids. Should I be looking still in the north raleigh area or what places are better? Any advice or recommendations about visiting somewhere or checking out apts anywhere would be great!!! Thanks all~
