I posted a while back about me relocating to Raleigh from Puerto Rico. I just got back from 4 days in Raleigh and can I say how I really like the area? Now, I know nothing about the job market there. As I said before, my field is IT, with absolutely NO experience. Wich I believe will make it IMPOSSIBLE for me to land a job. I've been thinking about going to school for teaching, or maybe HR.

But now, my question is... the school that my daughter will go to is Lynn's Road... I visited the school on friday and I liked what I saw. Just to be sure, I wanted to ask other's opinions, suggestions, reviews, etc. They have ESL, wich my daughter really needs. Her english is very basic, since we speak spanish here at home.

Any help is greatly appreciated it!

It's "Lynn Road", not "Lynn's Road"--I think that has always had a very good reputation.

BUT--you say yourself you don't expect to get a job. You should NOT move here until you already have something lined up...I don't know why people think all of their problems will be solved if they move here.

Co-sign. Especially in these rough times... I waited 8 months before I had a job offer before leaving NY for Raleigh. It was tough and frustrating, but nowhere near as tough as it would have been if I had been watching my money run out with no job in sight.
