While I'm not a State fan, I just have a hard time cheering for a school whose mascot is a Turkey.
NRG, there are even Hookies out here in Portland. Our old next door neighbor is flying his VT flag at this very moment. Of course, only me and one other person in the neighborhood knew the VT was for Virginia Tech and not Vermont like the rest of the neighborhood thinks.
Oh well ..... looks like thrid time wasn't the charm to the Hokies. My hat goes off to you wolfpack fans. I will be cheering for you during the ACC championship game. If the champ can't be the Virginia Land Grant University at least it could be North Carolina's. Go Pack!
