We got about 4 inches total and now the clouds are starting to clear. It was nice. Not to much and not for to long. It actually isn't that cold but just cold enough to keep the snow around for the day. So far only 2 trucks have gone down our road but then it is a dirt road. I have seen several neighborhood kids taking their sleds down the road to our nearby mountain for sledding. They are all so happy and throughly enjoying what nature has given us! DH is not thrilled being from MI orginally but then everyone can't be pleased all the time can they?

Just wondering how much snow is still on the ground in the Raleigh area?

I have family in Knightdale and I know they were ecstatic about the snowfall over there.

Wow, you folks in eastern NC have got more snow with this one snow than we have yet to see so far this season here in the mountains of northeast Tennessee! We dont have any snow on the ground now.

As of today (Friday), just spots. Anywhere that gets any sunshine has melted, because it's been in the 40s the last two days. Not that there are some small patches of ice on shady roads, but it's a thing of the past by now.
