Just heard from friends that they think it's closing or already closed? Bummer if it is -- I really like their ice cream.

I haven't noticed....Naked Swirl is still open.

When we go out for "ice cream" we go to Goodberry's for frozen custard.

I don't care for the flavor of goodberrys. and marble slab is so darn convenient! Especially if I take the kids to Moe's and get myself a coffee afterwards.

I have been to that Marble Slab Ice cream place once and their ice cream tasted like other ice cream store ice cream IMO. So I never went back as I could not justify the premium price they had for their ice cream. Goodberry's is good no pun intended. I like DQ ice cream and its frugal cost not flavor mind you just their cost!

^I agree. I've been there one time and that was enough. No way could I justify spending that much money for a scoop of ice cream. Apparently we aren't the only ones who felt this way if they have gone out of business. There ice cream wasn't that good!

Exactly what I thought, too. It tastes just like any other ole ice cream.

Goodberry's on the other hand is INCREDIBLE, what do they do to it?!?

Never been to Marble Slab. But Coldstone Creamery was expensive enough. And I'm thinking these places aren't all that different.

bummer ... just went by it when I got my sbux tonight ... DAD (dead as doornail). The difference with their ice cream was the flavor (I prefer it to cold stone - no artificial colors like that whacked out blue stuff) and the cones. Darn. I wonder what to do with all those free cone coupons... hmmm... DRAT. My son was totally bummed, we used to love to go to Gianni and Gaitanos and get ice cream afterward!

Isn't there an old fashioned Ice Cream Bar in Spinner's Grill in the same shopping center in?
