Are there any smooth jazz radio stations in the triangle area?

Two of the Colleges run Jazz Stations:

Shaw University 88.9
North carolina Central 90.7

I believe there used to be a non-college station but they switched formats awhile ago.

Thanks for the info.
I had Sirius and dropped it because they failed to keep to the genre.
I now use internet radio at home but I would like to have a good smooth jazz station in the car.

There's also a station out of the Triad that plays smooth jazz on Sunday's. It's 101.1 and is otherwise talk radio the rest of the week....

WWND was the commercial Jazz station in the Triangle. Curtis Media ran it, but it flipped format a good 6-7 years ago.

WSHA 88.9FM is your best bet for smooth Jazz.

My impression of 88.9 is it's more of an "regular" jazz vs "smooth" jazz station FYI.

88.9 is the best triangle radio station. they play various types of jazz throughout the week. weekends their lineup is a bit too eclectic for this supporter!

Home - Jazzspirations

In the car -- download the tunein.com radio app, search for Jazzspirations, and use an aux cord to connect your phone.

AWESOME!
