Um.... it's south of Apex? lol. They have the only Sonic in Wake County that is usually packed. And they just built a new High School.... creativly named; Holly Springs High School.

Can't address the issue of Holly Springs but a Sonic is a fast food, drive-through burger joint. Not really my idea of something to recommend an area...

My husband and I visited Holly Springs in November and liked it very much. It's just on the outskirts of Apex/Cary, minutes from the malls and approximately 20-25 minutes to RTP and the Raleigh-Durham airport. You can always check the Holly Springs Chamber of Commerce website to get more information. The good thing about Holly Springs is that they have their own water supply system so they are not dependent upon the Raleigh area for their supply and the schools are the same as the residents from Cary/Apex. However, there is a serious problem in Wake County with overcrowded schools so you have to do your research.

Good luck!

I just sold two brand new homes in Holly Springs. Its one of the areas that is growing quickly. Location wise...its going to depend on where you work as to how far you want to travel. Cary is getting too expensive for most so the outskirts is where most are now going. Vicki

That's absolutely correct. We have a friend that lives in Cary and he paid 350k for a 2,900 sq ft home. We looked in holly springs and found a 4,000 sq ft home for 370k. you definitely get more for your money outside of cary and still have the same benefits of using the same schools as theirs.

Alot of people are branching out to the Holly Springs area, as well as Fuquay Varina. I have clients that are undecided which area they want, because they love them both. Can't have 2 homes, it would be nice though. It really does depend where you are going to work though which one would be better for you. Feel of being out in the country, but close enough to the hustle bustle if you like. Have a great day.

Debbie

We just moved to Holly Springs and we love it! It's still rural, yet shopping is only 10 minutes away. New schools are being built here and we definitely got more house for our money. It just seems like a great area, plus we've been told it's one of the fastest growing towns in NC (which may not be a good thing?!?).
