Has anyone used Dr. Pheliecia Flanagan or Andrea Roche or a Dr. Stephens over at 4414 Lake Booke Trail? New to the area and see that they have great reviews.. but wanted more feedback. I'm looking to start a family and I'm new to the area..

Dr. Stephens at Mid-Carolina OB-GYN delivered my daughter (now 3.5) and I can't say enough good things about her. I loved her bedside manner as I ended up having to have a C-Section (12 hours of labor, only dilated to 2cm) and she had a way of telling me what was happening without scaring the heck out of me. Looking back, I also appreciated the fact that she wanted to avoid a C-Section if at all possible (I was allowed to labor until her heart rate began to have prolonged decelerations and she was in distress, not because I didn't progress like the books said I should). I would definitely check them out (919-781-5510)...they have a multiple MD practice and I liked each MD I saw (you rotate among them throughout your pregnancy), though some more than others (solely a personality thing as each MD has a different style). They deliver at Rex and I had a great experience there when I delivered my daughter. I now see them for GYN (I have no plans for another baby in the near future) concerns and am always able to get a same-day appointment for urgent concerns (UTI's, etc.).

PM me if you have any other questions...Good Luck!

Yes - Dr. Flanagan and Dr. Roche are at Wilkerson OBGYN where I went for both of my kids. Both are young female Dr's who are fantastic.

Default Best OB/Gyn

Dr Nanda Shah is the best ob/gyn. She is located in cary off of tryon rd.

519 Keisler Dr
Cary, NC 27518-7098
(919) 233-8183

She helped me deliver my 8 lb baby whereas most drs would have given me a c section. She is very personable and she recommended the best ped named Dr. Gopan. Dr. Gopan makes house calls to follow up on her patients and we just love her! Dr Nanda Shah has after hours appts. She has three days a week where she doesn't close until 8 at night. This was great since I work during the week and had to see her so often because of my pregnancy. She is very experienced and looks out for her patients. She even made me some food while I was in the hospital since she knows I love indian food. Some people might not want to go to a indian dr for fear that they will only see indian pts mostly (I was expecting this), but she has a mixed clientele and she really cares for her pts no matter if they are american or not. I'm a very white caucasian. lol
