I'll be relocating (driving) to Florida from the NE, and I just thought that I could stop in Raleigh on my way and stay there for a couple of weeks. If I like the area I might end up staying! The only problem is that this will happen next week (short notice) and I'll be carrying my two dogs with me.

So question is - is it easy to find accomodation in the area for two weeks or a month that accepts pets, in such a short notice?

We would like to know the same thing as well. We would probably be ok with a month or so until we knew 100% what part of town we would like to stay permanently.

We've seen that several of the apartment complexes do have 3 month leases, but a shorter time would be more convenient. That way we could get settled before school starts.

Default short term rental

go to link removed for the area your looking for. Often you will find people who will need to sublease or short term rental.

Also you can find an extended stay hotel. I found Suburban Extended stay hotel in Charlotte that will allow you to have a pet. If you do the extended stay you will not have to set up phone, cable, electric etc. You will have a kitchen, microwave etc. Hope it helps.
