Hi, All!

I am having a house built in Grandale and construction will begin in March; I need a home inspector that will be available to go to all of the inspections along the way and also test for Radon, who will be reasonably priced. Does anyone know of a good new construction home inspector? I need someone who will be able to catch building deficiencies and will be patient with me as he/she will have to explain what we're looking at when we're looking at it (I like to be involved in every step of the process). I had a realtor, but she was so useless, I had to fire her. She didn't help me with anything, especially since she didn't know the Durham area! As such, she won't recommend any home inspectors (understandably), so I'm trying to find someone on my own. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for taking the time.

A member of this forum, sacredgrooves, is a home inspector. He's given great advice here, so maybe he can offer his exppertise or a recommendation.

Here's an earlier thread on the subject: Home Inspection Co.

Like most of the folks in that thread, I like A1 House Inspectors. A-1 House Inspectors
