I am a stay at home father and my wife is looking for a Law firm job in Raleigh, Charlotte and Durham and I am wondering about playgroups in the Raleigh area and if any towns have good parents groups. Are there any Websites for playgroups or parent groups in any of the towns in the Raleigh area? From what we see on the web we like the Cary area for the great schools.

I'm staying home with my son while in between jobs, and have looked into Triangle Dads. I gotta tell you, I wasn't too impressed. The OP is looking for playgroups and I did not see that activity being organized on Triangle Dads. It was mostly dads online talking about sports, etc and dads-only meeting up for beers at a local pub.
I've had a difficult time finding other stay at home dads who want to get together so that their kids can play. Even Meetup.com has nothing exclusive for dads (maybe I should start one ). If you do a search for "Stay at home Dads" or even "playgroup" on their site within 25 miles of Cary you get lots of hits for Stay at Home Mom groups. The closest that I could find was a group that did stroller walks on the ATT. They seemed to be moms and dads.
There was an article about SAHDs in Cary Living. I just can't remember which issue.
