I noticed some activity at this intersection. Looks like they are knocking down some trees...clearing space on the west bound side of 70. Anyone know what is going on?

I'm thinking it is going to connect somehow to the road and buildings there at the back left corner of Kohls, but don't know for sure.

I imagine it would be a new road with a rear entrance to the new Best Buy shopping area.. if that ever opens..

But that's nothing more than a guess. I have no idea what it really is...

I dont think it is a road since they have not even built phase II. Also the survey does not show a road.

I contacted Faison about the best buy status and they did not respond to the questions but they wanted to know if I would like to lease the space. I think it is safe to say Best buy wont be going in there. The entire project has been empty since summer 2008.

Stantheman, that's too bad to hear. :-( I was really hoping to have a Best Buy close to me. There really isn't anything near me other than that HH Gregg which is not the same thing.

The road could be connecting up to ACC Blvd where there are some office buildings?

That whole side of Brier Creek is just horrific to navigate and poorly planned. Maybe a road there would help alleviate some of the congestion?
