Has anyone ever been to the sale at the Model Home Interiors warehouse in Durham? I get emails when they have the sale but they usually are on a Friday except this weekend they will be open Saturday. I live in Wake Forest and I was wanting to know if it is worth it. Has anyone ever gone to it?

What are the hours and details of the sale (address?) I do not live far from where I think this is and could swing by...

NVM - I found it - my wife is heading over in about an hour.

Okay here's the scoop. The warehouse is enormous, but they only cordon off a small portion with the sale items. It's a lot of junk, some pieces of note. I don't know that I'd make a special trip out JUST to see this stuff tomorrow (I assume they arent putting anything else out that wasnt there today) but you might find something.

The prices were excellent - obviously most of the stuff is lightly used, but they had some entertainment centers or desks in the 200-400 range, coffee tables under 100 bucks.

I would say there were probably 10 desks, maybe 25 tables, a couple sofas (worn looking) some accent furniture, lamps, vases, etc etc. Better than a flea market but not as much as say, Heavner furniture mart or even the Home Comfort Clearance Center on Glenwood.

We bought a table lamp and 2 decorative vases for $36 bucks total.

Thanks Sneeze & Lisads. I live in NE Raleigh and already have a day filled with errands tomorrow. Doesn't sound as if its worth me squeezing in the trip, but it might be worth signing up for notifications so I can consider the next one.

Yes, its mostly cheaper stuff, that's seen some use, so its inexpensive anyway, and cheaper used. Worth going once though.
