I'd do it myself, but our garage ceiling is like 14' high and I don't have a tall enough step ladder to do it. Any garage guys you've used? I tried posting on CL and got no hits, surprisingly.

I used Precision for two separate garage doors I've had installed (different properties). They've been prompt and reasonable in price.

I used Lowe's since I bought the opener there and they did a fairly good job, not excellent. I don't remember how much I paid, but I know it wasn't terrible, and I didn't have a clue how to install a garage door opener.
Lowe's contracts with third parties to do such service and the first guy they sent couldn't finish the job and wasn't able to get the opener to work. He said that the opener might be defective, but I asked for a different technician. The second person was able to fix it very easily and was much more knowledgeable.
Overall an ok experience since it took almost 2 weeks to get it done.
Good luck.
