I'm not in Raleigh (I'm an admirer) but I have UVerse and we love it. Very clear, good variety, reliable, fast internet. Good price too-it beats cable any day.
I found this on the AT&T U-Verse website: Available in 82 markets (MSAs) across 16 states.
Introduced U-verse services to Madison, Charlotte, Toledo, Orlando, Raleigh-
Durham, Nashville, Birmingham and Columbia.Net Subscriber Additions
I live in Durham, but can't seem to find anyone who knows when it will come here. I can't wait and hopefully it'll be here before I move in September! I hope it's as good as it sounds.
So excited to hear all the good reviews....now it's just the waiting game to get it to N. Raleigh! Ding. Dong. TWC will be gone (from my home at least!).
They are digging in North Hills, I asked the dude what it was he said Time Warner was putting in fiber optic. I hope he does not know what he is talking about and it is actually u-verse. I have never heard of time warner using fiber optic. And, we just got the time warner rate reduction with two year lock fliers that seem to come right before u-verse came to other areas.

Have you read the fine print connected to those rates? It says that the price will be frozen, but NOT what you get for your money. They reserve the right to change, remove and add any channel/network to your existing package.
In other words, what you pay for today could change tomorrow.

TWC's advertising references their fiber optic network extensively. Note, however, that they do not run fiber all the way to the homes they serve. I believe the references are simply to the backbone of their network.
