So, planning to have a brunch at my place, the day after the hubby's surprise party for about 15 to 20 people. I had initially thought of making some arrangements at home for it, but then, hubby will be wondering what is going on if he sees me preparing large portions of food, or even buying it for no apparent reason. So, I am thinking of ordering food from somewhere and I ( or he, since the surprise is over) could go early in the morning and pick it up and then arrange it buffet style for people arriving for brunch. Was thinking stuff like bagels, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, juice - open to more ideas. Can anyone recommend any place in the Morrisville area I can get food from? Cary would work too...

Thanks,

D

La Farm in Cary is always a good choice for breakfast pastries and there is a bagel place in the same strip mall.

Panera will sell you big containers full of coffee (that's where I got it for a neighborhood brunch) and you could order pastries and such there too. I assume Bear Rock will do the same.

Then just hit your local Fresh Market or Harris-Teeter for a fruit tray and some juice.

I did a last minute brunch at my house. On a whim, I used Cafe Carolina. It turned out wonderful.
