I live by myself but may use it once in a while if I'm bothered by the noise outside my master bedroom window (it's quieter in the front of the house).

I DON"T recommend Cary Bedroom and sofa Emporium .

Try Original Mattress or Home Comfort.

Can I add another vote for Original Mattress Factory? We got two orthopedic models from them just a few weeks ago, a king for the master and a queen for the guest room. So far so good on the mattresses, and the shopping process and prices were excellent.

Fred's Beds Map Locations

I was referred to them by a long standing raleigh resident. I placed the order by phone. The delivery came exactly on time. The people dellivering were very polite and helpful and the quality of the matress well above what I expected w/a guarentee. I don't know the price of a twin as I ordered a Queen but, I did compare prices before ordering and they were among the lowest. (though I would have picked them even if the charged higher due to the rave review I had gotten for them)

Default Original mattress factory

We have bought our last 6+ mattresses from OMF. All are excellent quality and as others have said, no pressure, no gimmicks, no big ads. We can compare inside the store what we are getting, choose what we want, and are totally satisfied.

One problem: we bought my elderly father an adjustable, electric, up and down bed and the electrical parts failed in under a year. I was busy that year, and never even called the store. so it now is used as a (heavy) guest bed. I would not buy an up and down kind of bed from them although in their favor, I did not give them a chance to make it good.

We still buy all of our regular beds from them and tell others to, also!

Other options, try samsclub.com and overstock.com; Both these have good quality mattresses for a reasonable price. Delivery fee for Overstock is $2.95 regardless of the price of the item! Plus there is no local sales tax charged!
