I know there are already several threads concerning recommendations for fence contractors. However, all of the previous discussions seem to be related to the Raleigh and Cary area. Can anyone recommend a fence contractor for the Fuquay Varina area? I am looking to get a wood fence. I would like some one who has the capability of adding some detail to the design (if it's within my price range). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks...

I used Raleigh fence NC - wood, aluminum, bamboo, chain link (Carolina Custom Fences). They serve Raleigh and surrounding areas, I'm not sure if that includes Fuquay but it's worth a call. The owner Scott is wonderful and we love the job he did on our fence in Durham.

I used Seegars, as most everyone in my neighborhood used them. I do not know if they are your area. I was very happy with their work.

We just used Seeegars also, I am in Clayton and had the black alum installed but i know they also do wood and pvc fencing.....they did a great job and were quick in installing.....one day and hung the gates the next......they cleaned everything up after themselves.....

They also beat other prices that we had quoted and offered more options in that price....

worth giving them a call

I got quotes from Seegars (highest), Big Jerry's (next highest) and Harrison (lowest). All three seemed like they were good honest people. In my neighborhood there are a bunch of fences by Harrison as well as Level. Not sure who I am going with but if anyone has info on either Big Jerry's or Harrison I would appreciate it.

I've used Fences of Cary - Serving all of the Triangle twice and have been very happy with them - I don't know if they serve FV though.

I used a company that many peop0le on this thread have refered to and they were good. I had a very bad experience with one fence contractor that is pretty well known in the area. He decided to show up to bid the job high on drugs. Personally I think he was wired on crank. I have witnesses cranksters before and I am almost positive. He also turned out to be flaky and did not follow through with something as simple as a phone call. If you want to know who this was you may PM me but I will not discredit him or his company for all to see.
