SNOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From what I've heard, the farther west in the triangle you are, the more snow you got from this storm. Such a rare treat here... I wonder how much areas like Greensboro/Burlington got...they were the ones predicted to get the most.

Taken 5 minutes ago in my back yard...

Pretty pics! A veritable winter wonderland - at least for a couple of days. Going to be 70 on Saturday, and I'll be up in New England!! Yikes!

It BETTER be 70 on Saturday! The weather gods have to make up for a real dud of a weekend this go-around (minus the snow-morning....but Monday doesn't count!)

And this was taken about 10 mintues ago of my Wake County backyard. Funny...but there really doesn't seem to be that much of a difference.

One reason it's WAY better to live in Durham County than Wake County...-marchsnow.jpg

After you are here for a while, you may just find it a novelty.
Another 12 years, and even I might.

(My wife was laughing hard at my lame attempts to deny that it was beautiful this morning. She thinks I am ready to capitulate and go snow lover on her...)

Interesting! I had heard differently from some friends who said they barely got their yard covered, but I guess it must have been a localized thing - then in that case, celebration all around! I do still hear, though, that areas west of here got upwards of 6....can anyone confirm?

lol! I feel your pain.. We're in Spokane and got hit with 3+ feet in one week in December, followed by more and more and more over the next few weeks... all of which is STILL slowly melting away.

And the kicker is... we will likely get another big one before our actual Spring arrives... about the middle of June.

Can't WAIT to get back to NC. Ya'll don't even know how lucky you are to be living in the best state in the whole US.

imnsho!!
