Small shop off Capital Blvd., near Chuck E Cheese. I believe Brian was the name of the guy that did mine! Shhhhhhhh.

I got mine done at Phoenix Tattoo Studio, which is off of Hillsborough Street. They did a great job.

I don't have a tat ... yet ... but when/if I do decide, I will go to Phoenix Tattoo on Hillsborough. I accompanied a friend there after having it recommended to me by someone else. Pro-gress Piercing next door is also a great place to go for piercings or if you are interested in a brand.

Blue Flame, specifically Errol, Mark, or Ray. All extremely professional and talented. They've relocated from Hillsborough to Peace St. Their website has pictures of their work: from the homepage, click the word "Tattoos", then click on one of the artists to see their gallery.

Resurrecting this old thread to say it was ever so helpful. I got my first tattoo (yes, you heard right) yesterday. I went to Phoenix and was very impressed. In addition to CD, multiple people gave Phoenix a big thumbs up. So do I.
