I generally eat food when I'm alone + hungry. Gosh, I never eat entire places when I'm hungry.... Honestly, I prefer experimenting in my kitchen, because u have a better control over the ingredients.
Sorry to hear that you could not find Square Rabbit. It is indeed still open because I was there yesterday just before I submitted my initial comment.
If you ate at Brass Grill, you were very nearby. Ironically, I ate at Brass Grill today. (Brass Grill makes terriffic corn chowder which you can substitute for fries. Sadly, they did not offer the corn chowder today).
Maybe this will help you find Square Rabbit, if you decide to eat there tomorrow. map.pdf
I tried to go to the Square Rabbit and either my GPS hates me (quite possible... it's lied a few times during this trip) or it's not there anymore? So, out of starvation, I decided to eat at the first thing I found that wasn't sit down. I got a turkey burger and fries and Brass Grill which he tied up in a grocery bag. By the time I opened it to eat, the steam from the food turned the fries into a mushy lump and my bun had to be thrown away. $9 for a turkey patty.... you live and you learn! =)
My GPS lies to me all the time here. We plug in names of restaurants and stores and it takes us to residential areas. It is very frustrating.
Thanks for the PDF, Nelson! Question- is it near the Mecca? That seemed to be where my GPS was taking me, and I could have overlooked it as I was afraid the busy people behind me might run me over if I didn't keep moving =). I'll definitely try again tomorrow because it sounds right up my alley!
Fresh Oxygen, I'm def. like you in that I prefer to eat at home. Probably 95% of the time, in fact, but not when I'm out of town. The Days Inn doesn't provide me with a hot plate .
You're welcome. Mecca is three doors down from Square Rabbit so they are very close to each other, on the same side of the street.
Mecca is at 13 E Martin Street. Square Rabbit is at 19 E Martin Street.
