Looking for an inexpensive, but relatively clean/nice looking motel in Raleigh that accepts short stays. Just need to rent a room for an hour or two.

Seriously though, where in Raleigh are you looking specifically? North, downtown, near the airport?

Downtown, near PNC Arena, North Raleigh - all those would be useful.

This one is on Wake Forest Rd, Raleigh...I used to work close by and many people would stay there until they were able to rent apartments in communities...

I don't think what you're looking for exist. You should try some of the seedy looking hotels on Capital Blvd.

I guess what I'm asking for are the nicer hourly motels. It's all relative.

Hmmm... near downtown... well there's the King's Motel but that place is super duper sketchy haha. I've been inside the Super 8 Motel that's on S. Saunders and the room was clean and decent from what I saw.

Those types of hotels/motels exist in military towns, but not so much Raleigh...you'll end up probably paying for the entire night
