No one 'pays'...so don't worry, our tax money isn't going to something sillier then usual.

Right from the website...."By participating, you are pledging to clean up twice the mess you made. Please bring trash bags and other such cleaning implements so we can leave the site cleaner than we found it."

Pillow fight! Pillow fight!!!! Awesome, I'm in! Getting the Wylie Coyote's favorite on line shopping item for the pillow. An Anvil! J/K! sounds like good clean fun! This way if it wears you out you always have a pillow in hand for a quick nap!

In this area....I don't think it will be that much of a problem. In other cities...maybe it would be.

It's harmless fun....if you find it beneath you...don't join in. Chances are I won't either, but at least I can appreciate the sentiment behind it.

There have been a few articles about something similar that happened in San Francisco. People there weren't amused. It caused a huge clean up mess that cost the city of San Francisco tens of thousands of dollars. The feathers and other debris from the pillows clogged fountains and generally made a mess.

I wonder who takes care of the cleanup for an event like this?
