Beautiful! I really enjoyed those gorgeous Bradford Pears when I was in the Triangle last week! Also the Cherry Trees...

More pics, please!

Awesome pictures Mike! I keep saying that I NEED to get out and take pictures (I am one of those people who hardly ever takes pictures, even on vacation...). I am feeling motivated now, so maybe, after I recover from my weekend at work, I will get my photography boots on and do some walkin'.... Thanks Mike!

I'll have to take some pictures this weekend - spring is definitely here!

For Bradford Pear tree lovers - you can get Cleveland Select Pear (http://www.natorp.com/PL-Pyrus'ClevelandSelectPear'.htm - broken link) which are just as pretty but grow more upright and are less prone to splitting. I want to get one for my front yard, but I haven't checked yet with local nurseries to see if they carry them.

Ask and ye shall receive, Mike. I had to wait on the weather and my schedule to cooperate. I love early morning light, and prefer to take pictures at that time.

We planted our first sets of bulbs last fall, and they've been coming up for a while now. We'll definitely add to the collection next year - we wanted to see how they performed first.

Here's what you see coming up the driveway:

Hyacinths

Daffodil

Beautiful! Do those bulbs get divided up every other year? My only experience w/bulbs are with stargazer lillies and I would dig them up every other year and divide them and replant. After about 5 years I had TONS of lillies!

Well, since this is the first year, we'll probably leave them in the ground for next year. I suspect we'll be adding more next fall.

We also planted a couple of fritillaria bulbs; we'll see how those turn out.

Well if you don't mind your forum being polluted with a picture from Scranton, here is another sure sign of Spring!
