They are running a similar promotion now. We do not want to do the commitment so it's 44 a month, and 49 signup (plus some bs 25 admin fee). Adding a person to the account is another 30 per month. So total will be 74 a month for 2 of us, with 74 due at signing, no commitment.
I'm thinking they need to waive all those signup fees. Also, does anyone use a corporate discount? Do you need to show id?
Yes, you need to show company ID for the discount.
They have a deal on Groupon today to try it for $20. You get a 10 day pass and 2 personal training sessions. You can use this deal at any of the 8 locations in this area.
Is anyone familiar with either of the Chapel Hill locations? I am thinking about trying the one on Farrington Rd.
I haven't hear of anybody having luck. When I singed up it cost $1 to register and I pay $39 a month. For a full service gym that is well maintained with lots of equipment and classes I think it is a fair price. I'm all for saving money but I'm not interested in the places that are $10 a month and overcrowded only to get run into the ground after a year and close up in the middle of the night.
I have a few caveats about O2 - if anyone would like more details, feel free to send me a PM.
