Now here is a cool story that this Cary mom and dad can pass on to their children.

Cary News | Dad delivers in surprise birth (http://www.carynews.com/front/story/12187.html - broken link)

"Brandyn Strother is glad he recently renovated his master bathroom — it would soon serve as an emergency birthing room for wife Erica and their new baby girl."

Honestly, we don't care. We can all read Cary News | Front if we did. Unless you have some insightful comment or question to add to these links, why do you keep spamming here with every little positive thing that happens in Cary?

Definitely a cool story, but this sort of stuff happens all over the world every day. I can't wait for May 7!

How does delivering a baby make you a hero? Isn't the definition of a hero involve some sort of personal sacrifice or endangerment?

Though delivering mothers can be kind of dangerous...

This is the type of stuff that made us all say Exit MA and CD were one and the same.

I don't know about everyone else, but I am far more annoyed by all the bashers on this forum than I am by Charlton Dude and all his posts about Cary. Honestly, I have no problem with most of his posts. So he is biased towards Cary. Big deal. The man loves the town he lives in. I get the feeling he enjoys pushing others peoples buttons a bit, but some of the reactions you see to his posts are just ridiculous. You people are worse than him by a landslide.

This is a forum where people share information about the Triangle, and more importantly where folks come to learn about the Triangle. In most cases, it's from a relocation/livability standpoint. Threads such as this one started by CD do nothing to add to the meaningful content given that construct, IMHO of course.

You're not afraid that all the negative responses to his posts might be giving a negative vibe about the people here? We talk about tolerance and how diverse the area is but when someone that we don't agree with posts stuff, people are real quick to jump on him.

I live in Cary, but I disagree with a lot of CD's viewpoints (I'm also quite liberal and a city boy at heart so...), but I certainly don't feel the need to bash him at every turn. It just motivates him more and would make me look like petty and juvenile. *shrug*

We talk about anything and everything in the Triangle. What happened to this couple doesn't normally happen and I thought it was something of interest. I suppose if it didn't happen in Cary this time, people might want to talk about the actual event. I thought it was interesting.

Oh yeah, because we know that fathers in other areas of Wake County would just leave the mother to handle it herself and head down to drink on the street corner....even if there were a father in the picture because we all know that only the "good mothers" live in Cary.

Can't you post any story without mentioning Cary? Ever?
