Hello,

My husband and I are in the early stages of relocating to the raleigh area from chilly Vermont. We are coming for a visit in early May - staying in Apex. For the first year we will rent (so many great rentals right now). We have 2 very young children and are looking to have a recreation heavy neighboorhood - pool, trails, clubhouse, etc. Can anyone recommend some great neighborhoods to take a look at? We are looking to have a recreation heavy neighboorhood - pool, trails, clubhouse, etc.

Secondly, I currently have a job that I will be able to transfer. My husband however will be looking. Is there any particular networks or web pages that have reputable jobs posted worth looking at? He is a sales professional and some of the websites I have found are chucked full of retail, telemarking, or rookie sales positions. If anyone has any suggestions, please pass them along.

Thanks in advance. I'm so excited to move I can hardly stand it!

In this economy, I think many businesses are doing more laying off of salespeople than of hiring them...

Recommendations of neighborhoods will largely depend on your pricepoint. Do you want to stay in Apex or open to other towns/cities as well?

OP might look in Pearson Farms, Dogwood Ridge, Scott's Mill, Becket Crossing, Haddon Hall, Haddon Place, Walden Creek, Montclair, Sheperd's Vineyard, Vintage Grove, Ashley Woods, and a host of others.

Salespeople who deliver service and sales will always have opportunity.
They drive the economic engine for businesses.
Salespeople who merely take orders need to be concerned about their jobs.
As it should be.
