I'm a young, single, female professional. My biggest concern (after price) is safety. I'm looking for something that is no more than $700/mo. I currently work at WakeMed Raleigh, so any apartment that is relatively close to the belt line is convenient. I live in Knightdale and love my apartment, but I have to drive into Raleigh anytime I want to be entertained. Think of me as your 20something y.o., responsible, daughter and give me some suggestions!! I would love to be near trails and parks where I can go running by myself and it would be great to be less than 20 minutes from downtown, north hills or crab tree (I just moved here so these are the only areas I know of for entertainment).

Road names are appreciated!!

Thanks

Hi! I am actually living in bexley at preston and it would be in that range, or actually less. i am paying now, 703/month for 1 bedroom. I started at 620 3 years ago. You can probably get in cheaper than 700 due to trying to lure in renters.

it is a great place, close to parks etc. It is off of morrisville parkway.

I am moving to my new home in holly springs and will be out in may.

Oh, one thing, a train does come by a couple times a day BUT I got used to it.

Very clean place and great deal overall- very safe!

$700 for a one bedroom in an older community like that is really overpriced. There is so much new construction right now where you can get a top notch luxury apartment for that or even less.

Saturnfan, they should pay you for as much as you talk about your community! Every time someone posts about apartments, I see you post the same thing as you did above. It's great to see someone with so much pride in their community!

Autumn River Apts. in North Raleigh, right off of Durant. I am currently living there and I love it. 15 minute drive to downtown, parks, trails etc. all over with Falls Lake right behind us. Very nice, quiet area. I have a larger sing bedroom apt and rent is 670/month. I think you can get a single BR for as cheap as 620 though.
