Are there any (where women strip) that are not too seedy? (I realize that some may think all are seedy).

When you do a search, nothing really comes up. I would imagine there are more than a couple.

I've only lived here a year & a half and strip clubs is really not something I frequent. In fact only been a few times (I'm a straight female) Never been to one in NC and don't know of any. I live in Garner (cleveland area).

So if it is not too foward to ask such a question, can anyone name a few? Thought I might take my hubby for an 11 year aniversary present, ;-)

Thanks a bunch.

There is Pure Gold in Cary. You can google it for reviews. Never been there personally.

I haven't been to any since I've been here, but I would second what Momin said about Pure Gold in Cary based on what friends have told me.

That's about it....not that I would know much about that sort of thing. The used to be a Doll House in Raleigh, but I think they closed a while back.

The Mens Club is the new name for the doll house. I believe it was changed early last year. I haven't been there, but it appears to be a nice place. It's off exit 12 of 440 (brentwood ave.). I drive past it every day on my way to work. They are apparently building a new one close to the airport off of Glenwood and it's supposed to be really nice.

Now that I'm in my 30's married with a kid, I usually don't frequent those places anymore, but have nothing against it personally.

I've been to Pure Gold in Cary and it definitely wasn't seedy... It was however trashy(Dancers/Large Part of Clientele), but I think that's a given of most strip clubs

Search on "Gentlemen's Clubs", I believe that is the "classy" term.

In addition to the ones listed, there is a place in downtown Durham across from the American Tobacco Complex called "Teasers", I think, but I have NO idea what the "seediness quotient" is of that one.

I don't know why no one has asked the important question here. You're taking your hubby there for your anniversary...do you have a sister? I'm sure there are some guys here that would die for that type of openmindedness.
