Thanks for the suggestions all! I'll definitely try those things for the thermostat. I did pull off the cover to look there but didn't know I could pull the whole thing off, I'll see if I can. I also didn't know about the blade fuse but will go look...I did flip the breaker but that didn't do anything. Sorry you've had all those problems Suzanne! As I recall you live somewhere in the same area as I do (I'm in Flower's Plantation). I hate that you made that long move to have so many troubles with the house.

Thanks......yes we also live in the flowers plantation development....

I will say and give kudos to Rodney Lynch of Carolina Craftsman, who is also the developer of my development.....They came in and worked with us to rectify the flooding issues, which the builder supposedly was warned of and didnt seem to care......

I just wish buyers of new homes were given more info, and honest and accurate at that....you're told you're covered but in actuallity thats only if the builder chooses to do so and stand by their build....but not necessary....

Hopefully you'll hear from yours soon and take care of your probs....most are decent and stand by their work....others just dont care and it seems that mine falls in the latter...

Suzanne

Water leaking in around the window is almost certainly not a caulk issue, it is an improperly installed or breached flashing issue. Do not let them tell you it is just caulking either. They need to remove the adjacent siding, observe the actual problem, and repair it properly. You may also find you are only seeing some of the water intrusion entering the interior of the house house, more can be entering the wall cavity causing unseen damage. This is not an issue to take lightly, make them prove it is ok.
