Look on Craigslist.com. Lots of people post free boxes when they move into a new home. That way, we don't all end up buying new boxes and them just trashing them every time we move. You have to jump on them fast, though - because there are lots of other people looking for them at the same time.
Oh - sorry, just reread and realized you were looking for new boxes.
We have used Uhaul boxes for our last two moves and have been happy with the boxes. Prices are reasonable. We also love the Uhaul packing tape because it tears.
I purchased a large item from Pottery Barn recently. While we were waiting to have our item loaded, the couple in front of us were unpacking their furniture and leaving behind their boxes. The back room of PB was loaded with them. These are super sturdy boxes, most have styrofoam in them, as well. They are "used" but the furniture is new and the boxes are clean. You may try calling or just going to the loading dock for PB and asking.
I wanted to see where you get your moving boxes from. I am not too keen on getting second hand boxes or ones from the grocery stores. Thanks for any pointers.
