My recent visitors loved the farmers market, downtown museums, greenway trails, disc golf in Cary/Apex and having real Carolina BBQ at the Backyard BBQ Pit in Durham
What is city plaza and where is it located? I wish I could've gotten to Glenwood South while I was there. Maybe, next time.
City Plaza is a public Square being built on a section of Fayetteville St. downtown. It's intention is to be a public living room for the city. It's located just to the North of the new Marriott next to the BB&T Tower and will offer the city another outdoor venue for bring people together casually and for events. The really cool historic house almost across the street from the Gov's mansion. Plus a walk around that neighborhood in general is awesome.
