I have only been to one 'Cats game but I enjoyed it while there. They called the tickets "Fishing permits" which I thought was very clever. I would probably go more often if the stadium wasn't so far out, I think it would benefit the team more too.
It's a nice park and I think had just been renovated the before I went for the first time. Both are good options for minor-league fans, but I prefer the Bulls a bit more since I used to go to some of their games as a youngster.

My husband took my 7 year old to a Mudcats game yesterday and they had a blast. My husband thought it was a better location for kids than Durham Bulls as it was easier to get up and walk around if you wanted to.

Mudcats games are fun. It's a great little stadium and a good atmosphere. I agree it's great for younger kids as it never seems to get too crowded. I've been to several games there and we
've always had a great time. One caveat: Some friends and I ate in the sit-down restaurant "Cat-tails?" on the recommendation of a friend and it was horrendous. Awful, overpriced food (my buddy's chicken wasn't fully cooked) and poor waiting staff. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day though. I dropped over $100 bucks on what I thought would be a good night out but wish I had that dough back
