Hey all! Was wondering if anyone knows of townhome communities in triangle area that have a little bit (or a lot) of a fenced yard? It doesn't matter that it's small, just looking for more than a concrete slab in the back....looking for enough of a "yard" that a little one and dog could enjoy the outdoors in when not at the park...thanks!

Try the Village at Rolesville. They are individual homes (starting at $160), but might as well be town homes. There are only about 20' or so between most of them. Nice yards - small, but nice. Certainly enough for what you want. There are similar subdivisions in other areas, perhaps one close to where you need to live.

Sure there are townhomes with yards in Cary. Almost too many to name.
Some cluster homes too.
You won't get a large yard, but on an end unit, you often get a nice side yard too.
Applecross, Taylor's Pond, Riverwalk, Beechtree, Winbrooke, Wimbledon, Village Green, Pirates' Cove.
Weathersby and Ardmore are new/newer construction. .
You will note that these are also in great locations for conveniences.

There are more. But they all vary a little and it is good to visit and see.

Default To Mike--townhomes w/ yards in Raleigh too?

Hi Mike (or anyone who can help!). I saw your post that contained lots of information regarding the townhomes in Cary that have yards. I am wondering, since you are a Real Estate Agent, do you know of any in North Raleigh?

I live in Raleigh and would prefer to stay in this area, but I have a Lab and she needs a yard. I would prefer to buy a townhouse (I currently rent a house from a friend and my dog is accustomed to a fenced yard).

Do you know of any townhome communities in Raleigh that have fenced yards? I am looking at around 160k.

Thanks for any help you can give.

I live in Applecross in Cary and some units have nice yards. I also know people at Pirates Cove and some of those are decent as well.

Not too many have fences, you can always install one but if you plan to ask the HOA before you buy. Some have a lenghty process or restrictions on fences you can put in.

Default Pirates Cove / Swim Lessons

I heard the pool is opening soon at Pirates Cove. Does anyone know if anyone in the neighborhood offers swim lessons for a small child? I want to make sure my daughter is water safe this summer.

THANKS

Add to your list Downing Village in Morrisville, in fact there is one townhome available with a fenced yard for about $248K. Good luck!
