I saw this on the WRAL website tonight and thought I'd post it over here....it goes to show that our downtown is catching up, in a good way.
Fayetteville Street Seeing New Businesses Moving In
Raleigh leaders say the number of businesses moving into rental space on a Fayetteville Street since its reopening to vehicular traffic in July is well beyond their expectations.

I hope they do another 'opening night' event like they did last year....I had heard that they were planning one....that was a time last July.....with even more business down there it should be even better.
