i HIGHLY recommend EVERY US citizen be required to own a firearm but have training on it as well. That way, crime would plummet and people would not be getting raped, murdered, kidnapped, etc......

you can't count on the police to try to save you because obviously they can't be there before it happens to stop it from happening, unlike that movie. the only thing standing between you and bad things, is your own self and what you have to protect you and your family..

yeah, it happens to say 1 out of maybe 10,000 people/familys but do you want to be that 1?????? i sure don't.
What's the saying?

When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

I agree.... I have an alarm system that has two-way real-time communication, but it still won't save me if someone with bad intentions breaks into my house! I pay a fee every month to (hopefully) keep bad people out of my house, but if they come in when I am home.... ALL bets are off....I would assume they know what they might be getting themselves into.... As I have said before, I hope to never harm another human being, but when it comes to my family, I will do whatever it takes to protect them!
