I'd describe it as solid middle-of-the-road stuff that we've been very happy with so far.

I agree with the Haverty's recommendation. I bought all my furniture there for my house and it is good quality for a good price.

I love Haverty's. Great selection, quality products, & good prices.

Thanks for the recommendations, everyone. We stopped by Haverty's, HomeComfort Furniture, and La-Z-boy yesterday. Didn't much care for the selection at Haverty's (for what we were looking for, anyway). HomeComfort had some nice looking stuff, but we didn't find much that was both comfortable and appropriate for the space.

Ended up getting a floor model stationary couch we liked from La-Z-boy for an awesome price, and splurged a little on a leather recliner (we were going to either get a leather or cloth recliner, and figured the leather would last longer and be more versatile, for only about $200 more).

Surprisingly, we only spent about $100 more out-the-door at La-Z-boy for two great pieces that we like a lot than the price we were given for two pieces we weren't crazy about at HomeComfort.

We needed alot of new furniture and set our GPS for several furniture stores but ennded up getting everything we needed at Heavner. Very pleased with low -no pressure salespeople and quality. perfect for us. Go there first. I learned about them here on forum and I'm so grateful....
