Been to Vivace a few times. Each time we dined inside but the patio looks enticing. Food is a bit creative and suitable for Foodies who are not too serious about it. I think the atmosphere is the key here and definately the patio.
We dined at Coquette several times, mostly during the first 3 months of their opening. It was a painful time for both them and us. Timing was way off and we got a lot of free food and drinks. Have been back a couple of times this summer and things were much better.
Vivace is a bit hipper than Coq. Check out (and consider joining) OpenTable.com, a free dining rewards program. You can get restaurant info including menu and read reviews and make reservations online (around the country). When you complete your reservation (show up) you'll get reward points. Points add up to dining discounts. I like this site because it easily links to each restaurant's website and includes photos so I know what to expect. The diners' reviews are very helpful as well.
