I have moved from london to Cary - NC. I am a young mum (30's with kids and hubby). Its been hard trying to find the right friends circle here. SO
this is a shout out :
Are there any fun hip young mums wanting to go out on a desi de-stressing alcohol night - just like the london days. Seems to me that most young mums i meet here have reached their late 60's mentally - I just dont get it!!

Reason: typo
Well Cary isn't exactly the spot most young mums who like to go out choose to live....ITB would be better.
Exactly. I am nowhere near close to being a cool, young Brittish mom, but even *I* think most of the moms around Cary that I know act like they're 60 (even when they're 30!)
When we are feeling a little less geriatric, we usually hit up Mac's Tavern in Cary. It can be a fun place with a good mix of young/old...mostly just fun people in general and usually a live outdoor band in the summer.
Well we havent got kids, so we fall out of your desired group! However as a young (late 20's) London couple ourselves.......WELCOME TO NC! (its not quite like home )

After reading the headline, I thought "fun mum" was maybe a new kind of bright-colored chrysanthemum.
